Description |
Color photograph entitled, "David Price, Age 6," by Carol Siegel, 1985-1986. The photograph shows a young boy seated on an armchair with his knees to his chest and his hands behind his head. There is a white lace cover on the back of the chair and light brown velvet covers on the chair's arms. Part of a piano is visible on the left side of the photograph. The photograph is housed in a silver-colored metal frame with a glass front and a hanging wire attached at the back. This photograph was taken by Siegel as part of a project, grant-funded by the Alexandria Commission on the Arts, to document the Parker-Gray Historic District's Black community, 1985-1986. |
