Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "National Asian Pacific American Month May, 1992". The poster consists of a color drawing on a globe showing the United States of America including Alaska and Hawaii, and other countries in the Asian Pacific region. Canada, and Central and South America are not shown on the globe. Behind the globe is a sun and airplane. In the bottom right corner of the poster is a bamboo plant. The poster has a light green border and the text is in black. The poster was produced by Rod Enterprises. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
