Irregularly shaped cardboard display board mounted with five posters entitled, "1. Life in the New World", "2. Spanish Explorers in North America", "3. The Mississippi Valley Expeditions", "4. The Settlement of New Mexico", and "5. California Under Mexican Rule". The posters consist of a color drawing with a title below. The posters are from a series entitled, "Spanish America Yesterday and Today" produced by David C. Cook Publishing Co. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
