Description |
Two rectangular cardboard display boards taped together. Each board is mounted with a poster. The poster on the left consists of a color photographic image of Marvin Gaye with the text "MARVIN GAYE" in pink in the bottom right corner of the poster. In the top left corner is an attached typed label with the text, "MARVIN GAYE". The poster on the right is a color photographic image of the group Earth, Wind and Fire. In the top right corner is an attached typed label with the text, "EARTH, WIND AND FIRE". Handwriting in black text at the bottom of the poster is the text, " Earth, / Wind + / Fire". The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. There are sections of velcro on the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
