Description |
Ledger used by the Magnolia Social Club. The hardback cover is grey with green stripes near the spine and green at the corners. The text "JOURNAL" is within a circle over the stripes on the front cover. The lined pages are marked with columns. Handwritten in blue ink on the inside cover is the text "organize 1804 open 1953 / Magnolia Social Savings Club." There are entries headed with the member's name listing dates and transactions from 1953-1957 (January 1957 only). Additionally, there are entries for the club's accounts recording all weekly transactions to and from the club from 1953-1957. There are also minutes from some of the club's meetings at the end of the book from 1956-1958. |
