Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "National Women's History Month, March 1994". The poster consists of a color drawing by Edna San Miguel. The central image is a group of women and children with an outline of the United States of America and the flag above the group. This image is surrounded by a rainbow at the top, a row of five children's faces at the bottom and ten individual drawing of women and girls on the left and right of the drawing. The drawing is framed with a band of floral design on a purple background. The background of the poster is green and the text is black. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
