Description |
Yearbook for Parker-Gray High School, for the 1962-1963 school year. The cover is blue with a textured vinyl finish. On the cover is the text "1963 / THE ECHO" and two chevrons, all in white. On the back cover is a publisher's mark of a bird/dragon on a branch with a star embossed in the bottom right corner. The yearbook consists of 88 printed pages with a dedication to Mr. Richard B. Clayton and black and white photographs of members of the school faculty and students, including photographs of classes and various student clubs and activities. There are 14 pages of advertisements and patron lists, and a blank page for autographs. The text "Eugene Thompson" and "Parker-Gray High" is handwritten in black ink on the chevrons on the front cover. The school principal, William Pitts, has signed his photograph and other members of faculty and students have written notes and signed their names throughout the book. The book is also annotated throughout with notes about various students and teachers. Thompson's graduation announcement is taped to the inside back cover. |
