Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster advertising a stamp issued by the U. S. Postal Service in 2003. The poster is a black and white image of the stamp which is a photographic image of Thurgood Marshall. The poster has the text "BLACK HERITAGE / USA / 37 / Thurgood Marshall / 2003". The poster is affixed to the board with green tape and there are red tape triangles in each corner. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped on the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
