Cardboard display board on which are glued three sheets of typed paper advertising Black History Month lectures and presentation by Carlton A. Funn, 1980-1983. The first sheet is a yellow poster advertising, "The Afro-American Experience" lecture and film presentation by Carlton A. Funn presented by the National Endowment for the Arts, February 4 and 13, 1980. The second is a blue poster advertising the program "The U.S. Constitution and the Black American" program at the DCA, February 25, 1983. The third is a green poster advertising "The Afro-American Experience" exhibition at the U.S. Department of Labor, February 24-28, 1981. The rectangular display board is covered in plastic and is backed with wood patterned contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
