Description |
Six color photographs mounted on white card with a newspaper clipping from "The Washington Informer" entitled, "Holt Honored". The photographs and the clipping are from a recital at the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater, Washington, D.C. During the recital Ben Holt was presented with a proclamation that states that October 11, was declared "Ben Edward Holt, Jr. Day" and an award from the Women's Service League of Washington, D.C. A photographic image from the newspaper showing Ben Holt receiving the proclamation is mounted on the reverse of the frame with the text, "THE WASHINGTON INFORMER // THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22, 1981" The display is framed in an unpainted light brown wooden frame. |
