Bank book for the Magnolia Social Club account at the Alexandria National Bank, Alexandria, VA, for the period April 1, 1954 to January 11, 1960. The front cover is printed with the bank logo with the handwritten account number 1802. The bank book contains typed entries for deposits and withdrawals. The deposits occur throughout the year, but the withdrawals are in early December, reflecting the Magnolia Social Club's function as a community Christmas saving club. The bank book B2000.03.06b is housed in a protective sleeve with B2000.03.06a. The sleeve is also printed with the bank's logo. |
