Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with black vinyl lettering on an orange background. The text reads, "ROOTS AND WINGS / THERE ARE ONLY TWO LASTING / BEQUESTS WE CAN GIVE OUR / CHILDREN. ROOTS AND WINGS". The board is edged in black tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
