Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster that consists of a black and white photographic image of a woman and the white text, "How ironic it is that while medical / advances enable the elderly to live / long and longer lives - the position of / the aged worsens as the rest of the / society tries to ignore them / THE NATIONAL URBAN LEAGUE / Advocacy: in Support of Minority Aged Project…" The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. There are sections of black velcro on the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
