Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with two card posters entitled, "Land" and "Animals" and two printed documents. On the left of the board the card for "Land" consists of seven color photographic images of African landscapes, including the Nile, sand dunes, and rain forest. The card has a green, blue and orange abstract background. Below this card is a printed document on green paper with a caption for each image. On the right of the board the card for "Animals" consists of ten color photographic images of animals, including a lion, elephants, zebras, and vultures. The card has as yellow, orange and green abstract background. Below this card is a printed document on orange paper with a caption for each image and general information about African animals. The front of the board is covered in wood design contact paper and clear plastic which is taped at the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
