Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "Great Kings of Africa". The poster is part of a series created by Anheuser-Busch. At the top of the poster is a drawing of Hannibal. Below this is a biography of Hannibal and a history of the painting series. On either side of this text are the calendar months for 1997. The background of the poster is gold and the title text is in black. The poster is affixed to the board with brown tape. The front and back of the board are covered in wood design contact paper. The front of the board is also covered in clear plastic. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
