Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with poster entitled, "They Need Our Help Now!" which consists of a black and white drawing of a hand lifting the chin of an African American young boy. Below the drawing is the text, "WE STAND TALL WHEN WE STOOP TO / HELP A CHILD". The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. There are sections of velcro on the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
