Commemorative plastic fare card for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) with an image of Parliament-Funkadelic's Mothership and the text, "CELEBRATING A CULTURAL LEGACY." The front of card also has the logos for the National Museum of African American History and Culture, WMATA, and SmarTrip. On the reverse of the card are the terms and conditions of use and other WMATA information. The fare card was one of a limited edition set of four SmarTrip commemorative fare cards released in honor of the opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. The Mothership is in NMAAHC's collection and is on display. |
