Red 3-ring binder used as a scrapbook with 25 plastic adhesive photograph pages and 5 sheet protectors containing papers and photographs. In gold lettering inside a 3-line gold frame are the words: "Project Submitted In / Support Of Nomination Of / NANCY SILCOX / Alexandria City Public Schools / Alexandria, Virginia / United States / Capital Historical Society / TEACHER HISTORIAN AWARD / 1992." The first page of the scrapbook contains a printed document that reads, "THE LYLES-CROUCH COMMUNITY / A Neighborhood History / Developed for Grade 4 Students / at Lyles-Crouch Elementary School / by Nancy Silcox / Library Media Specialist." |
