Letter from George D. Jewett to Lewis Cass White. Jewett writes that he will give an account of his experience during the Battle of Fort Stevens at a later date. Mentions White's previous letter in which he mentioned the name of Jewett's comrade which he could not make out. Jewett tried to get a reunion of the 13th Michigan Battery but not enough people made it to make it a viable annual reunion. |
