Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster that consists of a color photographic image of a child in a brightly colored head scarf with the text, "What Would You Like to be / When You Grow Up? // ALIVE!" Below the image is a brief description of the problem of childhood deaths from potentially treatable dehydration from diarrhoeal diseases. It the bottom of the poster is the logo for Unicef. The board is edged with brown tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
