Rectangular cardboard display board constructed from a newspaper article from The Alexandria Journal, February 23, 1982. The article describes the history of Funn's collection and the expansion from black history to multi-cultural history and includes anecdotes about times when it was exhibited. The article also includes an image of Funn with artifacts from his collection. The entire board is covered in contact paper with a wood design and the front is covered in clear plastic. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
