Color photograph entitled, "Hopkins House Halloween Party," by Carol Siegel, 1985-1986. The photograph shows three children dressed in costumes at a Halloween party. An adult is partially visible on the right of the image holding two plates with hot dogs. A toddler in the center is looking up at the adult and handing a mask to them. The photograph is housed in a silver-colored metal frame with a glass front and a hanging wire attached at the back. This photograph was taken by Siegel as part of a project, grant-funded by the Alexandria Commission on the Arts, to document the Parker-Gray Historic District's Black community, 1985-1986. |
