Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "Six Million Murdered". The poster consists of a black and white map of Europe annotated with countries' names and figures. There is a caption at the bottom of the poster which begins, "There is no way to establish an accurate figure for the total number of / Jews murdered in The Final Solution…" The title is in white text on a black background at the bottom of the poster. The poster is part of an exhibition series on the Holocaust that was produced and distributed by the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith. The poster is marked number "19". The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. The board is constructed from two sections of cardboard taped together. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
