Description |
A postcard with a drawing of the flag of the Ku Klux Klan on one side. The flag is pennant shaped and is shown hanging from a narrow pole. It is yellow with a red trim and a black winged griffin with a forked red tongue in the center, flanked by the Latin phrase "QUOD SEMPER, QUOD UBIQUE / QUOD AB OMNIBUS. The flag is against a light blue background. The text below the flag reads, "BANNER USED BY THE KU-KLUX / Original now in North Carolina Room, Confederate Museum, Richmond, Virginia." On the reverse is the printed text, "Published by the Guilford Chapter, N.C. Division, / Daughters of the Confederacy, Greensboro, N. C." The postcard is unused. |
