Framed paper certificate with text "Certificate of Appreciation / Evelyn Powell / is awarded this certificate of appreciation / for valuable service as an employee of / The Alexandria School Board / from September 1, 1951 to June 30, 1987 / our sincere gratitude is extended to / you this 9th day of June, 1987." The certificate is signed by the school superintendent, the chairman Timothy S. Elliott, and the vice-chairman Sandra K. Lindsay. The gold-colored metal frame has floral decoration, a glass front and a black cardboard backing. There is a metal hanging device on the back at the left side. |
