Description |
Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with four documents about baseball player Willie Mays. The central document consists of a brief biography of Mays. To the left of the board are two black and white photographic images of Mays. To the right of the board is a color document with a photographic image of Mays and a brief biography. The documents are affixed to the board with blue tape and the board is edged in red tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
