Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with five posters of Native American men. The posters consist of a black and white photographic image or drawing with the man's name and four bullet-pointed biographic facts. The posters are for Shikellamy, Albert Edenshaw, Joseph Brant, King Philip, and Tecumseh. The name is in blue text and the remaining text is in black. The posters are part of a series entitled, "Historical American Indian Biographies" produced by The Instructor Publications, Inc., in 1972. The posters are affixed to the board with red tape. The front of the board is covered in wood design contact paper and clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
