Wooden shield shaped plaque mounted with a gold-colored metal rectangle engraved with, "IN RECOGNITION / THE WOMEN'S SERVICE LEAGUE / of WASHINGTON, D.C. / PRESENTS TO / BEN EDWARDS HOLT, JR. / BARITONE.../ OCTOBER 11, 1981". There is a molded metal emblem of a lyre in a circle surrounded by a laurel wreath at the top of the plaque. There is a metal flower at each corner of the metal rectangle to mount it to the wooden plaque. |
