Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with twelve documents printed with motivational passages by Alan Booth. The title at the top of the board reads, "WINDOWS ON LIFE" in black vinyl lettering. The passages are entitled, Parents, Mother, Children, Confidence, Faith, Ambition, Hope, Now, Feelings, Worry, Happiness, and Success. They are printed on cream paper in brown text with decorative capital letters in the title and beginning of each paragraph. The top edges of the paper are decorated with a foliate design. The documents are affixed to the board with black tape and the board is also edged in black tape on three sides. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
