Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with a poster entitled, "Paul Robeson, Above All, The Black Presence in the Arts" and consists of a color drawing of Paul Robeson, by Charles Lilly with a brief biography below. The drawing depicts four images of Robeson: seated with a book, singing, and in costume from his roles as Othello and Emperor Jones. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
