Description |
Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with eight color drawings of Hawaiian gods. The documents are mounted on white paper on which is handwritten in black ink their name and a brief description. There are also smaller drawings in black ink on the white paper surrounding the documents. The gods depicted are Mana Menehune, Alii Menehune, Kava, Aumakua, Pua Ku Lani, Malu, Heiau, and Moeuhane. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
