Description |
Rectangular foamcore display board with black vinyl lettering at top "A ROLE MODEL" and at the bottom, "CHARLES HAMILTON / HOUSTON ESQ." The board is also mounted with a black and white photographic image of Houston and a document entitled, "Houston's last stand", which is a brief biography of his legal work and his legacy. The documents are affixed with black tape and the board is edged with black tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. An additional section of foamcore is taped at the base of the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
