Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with a poster entitled, "A Day in the Life of Africa". The poster consists of one large and six smaller photographic images taken on February 2002 as part of a project by Anheuser-Busch to photograph scenes of African life across the continent on this single day. The text in the center of the poster explains the project and the related book, music CD, travelling exhibition, prints and DVD. Each image has a photographer credit and location, and five have an additional caption. In the bottom right corner of the poster is a calendar for 2004. The poster is affixed to the board with red, black and red tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
