Double-sided public health awareness poster produced by the American Red Cross for their HIV/AIDS awareness program, 1992. The poster is printed on one side with the text, "He who does not cultivate / his field will die of hunger // Guinean Proverb" and a color drawing by Washington, D.C.-based visual artist Damballah Dolphus Smith. The drawing depicts a man with his knees and elbows on the ground holding a bowl in one hand. The reverse of the poster is printed with information about the campaign, Guinea and the artist.
