Program for "A Day of Remembrance," dedication of the Charles Houston Recreation Center, Gymnasium and Pool, Alexandria, VA, on February 27, 2010. The program includes an in memoriam section to the city residents who drowned during the time when the city pool was for white residents only. It lists the names of nine youths who had been identified to date. It also includes a message from Mayor Euille, a biography of Louis E. W. Johnson and Morris R. Siebert, and a brief history of the Parker-Gray School. |
