Cardboard display board on which are taped a poster and two sheets of typed paper advertising the "Hispanic Heritage from The History and Culture of Minorities" exhibition and National Hispanic Heritage Week. First is a poster for "National Hispanic Heritage Week, September 10-16, 1979, Office of Equal Opportunity, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Washington, D.C." The second is an orange typed sheet advertising the exhibition "Hispanic Heritage from The History and Culture of Minorities" at the U.S. Customs Service, Equal Employment Opportunity Office, September 24-28, 1979. The third is a yellow typed sheet advertising the "History and Culture of Minorities" exhibition for Hispanic Heritage Week at the Immigration and Naturalization Service, September 4-7, 1979. The display board is covered in plastic and is backed with wood patterned contact paper. The first poster is taller than the others, forming an "L" shape. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
