T-shaped cardboard display board constructed from a newspaper article from The Alexandria Gazette, June 4, 1979. The article describes the "International Artifacts Fair" that Carlton Funn organized with the children at Hollin Meadows School, while he was a teacher there. It includes three images of children exploring artifacts displayed during the fair. The front of the rectangular display board is covered in clear plastic and the back of the board is covered in contact paper with a wood design. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
