Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with three posters entitled, "Romana Banuelos", "Spanish American Business Leaders" and "Grace Olivarez". The posters for Banuelos and Olivarez consist of a color photographic image with their names, and a biography in black text on a cream colored rectangle at the bottom of the poster. The central poster consists of a color photographic image of an unnamed woman standing in a bookstore. The posters for Banuelos and Olivarez are part of a series entitled, "20th Century Hispanic Americans" produced by The Instructor Publications, Inc. The central poster is from a series entitled, "Spanish America Yesterday and Today" produced by David C. Cook Publishing Co. The posters on the left and right of the board are affixed with metal studs. The board is edged with white tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic and the back is covered in wood design contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
