Double-sided public health awareness poster produced by the American Red Cross for their HIV/AIDS awareness program, 1992. The poster is printed on one side with the text, "He who conceals his disease / cannot expect to be cured // Ethiopian / Proverb" and a color drawing by Washington, D.C.-based visual artist Damballah Dolphus Smith. The drawing depicts a man holding a drawing of himself. The reverse of the poster is printed with information about the campaign, Ethiopia and the artist. This image is number 6 in the series of 6. |
