Description |
Trapezoidal wooden plaque with a metal plate screwed to the top. The plate is inscribed with the text, "NATIONAL GOSPEL SYMPOSIUM ASSOCIATION / ACHIEVEMENT AWARD / WASHINGTON, D.C. / 1961 / FOR / OUTSTANDING MALE GROUP / OF THE YEAR / WALTER KENNEDY III, FOUNDER / DONOR / THE MOSS H. KENDRIX ORGANIZATION / WASHINGTON, D.C." There are two lines of gold trim on either side of the plate and there is a gold star attached below. The plaque has been cut out on the sides so that the trim can be attached. The back of the plaque has a hanger to attach it to a wall as well as two stickers, one with a number, the other with the plaque source. |
