Description |
Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with a document entitled, "Hammerin Hank". The document consists of a black and white photographic image of baseball player Hank Aaron, a quote from a racist letter sent to Aaron, and a brief biography of Aaron. The document is affixed to the board with blue tape and the board is edged in red tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
