Description |
Ceramic salt shaker in the shape of a man dressed as a chef and wearing white top, pants and hat. A strings detail at the back suggest the figure is wearing an apron. The figure holds a red spoon in its right hand. The figure's head, hands, and shoes are painted black. The eyes are painted to look to the left and the red mouth is open. There are two ridges on the bottom of the shaker which form part of the figure's feet and support the base. There are three holes at the top of the shaker and one hole at the bottom with a cork stopper. The salt shaker is part of a pair with a pepper shaker catalogued as B2017.02.01a. |
