Color photograph entitled, "Willie Mudd at the G.W. Parade," by Carol Siegel, 1986. The photograph shows a man dressed in a Boy Scout uniform holding a small American flag with a group of young Boy Scouts in the background at a parade. The photograph is housed in a silver-colored metal frame with a glass front and a hanging wire attached at the back. This photograph was taken by Siegel as part of a project, grant-funded by the Alexandria Commission on the Arts, to document the Parker-Gray Historic District's Black community, 1985-1986. |
