Description |
Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with a poster entitled, "Diversity, Equality, Unity & Social Justice". The words are in blue, orange, red, teal, purple and green. In the center of the poster is a blue five-pointed star with red, white, brown, yellow and black hands in a circle within it. Across the entire poster are words relating to positive and negative terms and their definition, for example, discrimination, eurocentrism, feminism, minority, privilege, stereotype and tolerance. The poster was produced by Rod Enterprises. The poster is affixed to the board with blue tape. The board is edged in red tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
