Description |
Rectangular foamcore display board mounted with a copy of the obituary page from "The Crisis" dated September/October 2007. It includes an obituary entitled, "Oliver Hill: The Last Lion" written by L. Douglas Wilder, Richmond Mayor. It includes a black and white photographic image of Oliver Hill. There are an additional seventeen short obituaries. The document is affixed to the board with green tape and the board is edged in green tape. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
