Rectangular cardboard display board mounted with copies of ten pages from the book "Portraits of Asian-Pacific Americans" by Kim Sakamoto Steidl. The pages are on yellow paper with black printed text and line drawings. They consist of descriptive text, portraits, and activities. The pages are entitled, "Harry Singh", ACTIVITIES", "Events in Asian-Pacific American History", "The Jets", "Auntie Mary Kovich", "Leo and Branscom Richmond". The front of the board is covered in wood design contact paper and clear plastic which is taped at the back. Handwritten in black ink on the back of the board is "8". This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
