Sheet music for the song "Get Out and Get Under the Moon," words written by Chas. Tobias and William Jerome with music by Larry Shay, dated 1928. The four-page score is for piano and voice with a ukulele arrangement. The drawing on the front cover is in blue, white and yellow and depicts a couple sitting under a tree, looking at the moon. The title and other text on the cover is in blue. The cover includes an inset with the text, "FEATURED BY / THE / ORIGINAL / HONEYBOYS" with a drawing of the heads of five blackface minstrels with bee bodies on a beehive. On the back cover is an excerpt for "Beloved," by Gus Kahn and Joe Saunders. The front cover has "Fran" handwritten on it in blue ink. The score was published by Irving Berlin, Inc., 1607 Broadway, New York. |
