Description |
Irregularly shaped cardboard display board mounted with two documents. The top is a color photographic image of a diverse group of children wearing the traditional dress of different countries with a globe in front. Several of the children are holding a copy of the "World Book Encyclopedia", and this image may be an advertisement for the publication. The lower image is a black and white photographic composite image of four children. The front of the board is covered in clear plastic which is taped at the back. An additional section of cardboard has been taped to the back of the board. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
