Description |
Framed print of a painting of a six-person jazz band by Tana Powell, entitled, "Jammin'". The musicians are playing bass, piano, drums, clarinet, trumpet, and saxophone. The image uses stylized forms and bright colors. The image is signed "Tana" in the lower right corner. Under the image is the title and artist's name. The frame is red colored wood, with gold colored beading. There are metal hooks and a metal hanging wire on the back of the frame. This framed print was used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
