Cardboard display board on which are taped six sheets of typed paper advertising the "The History and Culture of Minorities" exhibition. The first sheet is pink and is a poster advertising the exhibition at the U.S. Department of Transportation, February 23-24, 1977. The second sheet is white and is a poster advertising the exhibition at the Equal Employment Opportunity Offices, October 30 to November 3, 1978. The third sheet is white and is a poster advertising the exhibition at the U. S. Department of Labor. The lower two thirds of this poster are not visible as another poster covers it. The fourth sheet is yellow and is placed on top of the third sheet. It is a poster advertising the exhibition at the Internal Revenue Service, September 26-30, (no year listed). The fifth sheet is white and is a poster advertising the exhibition at the Alexandria, Virginia Police Department and Office of Human Rights, July 2, 1979. The sixth sheet is white, undated, and lists the 38 Federal Government related venues of the exhibition of "The History and Culture of Minorities". The rectangular display board is covered in plastic and is backed with wood patterned contact paper. This display board was created and used by Carlton A. Funn Sr. as part of his exhibition, "The History and Culture of Minorities", later named "National / International Cultural Exhibits ("NICE"). |
